Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and British Academy jointly organize a workshop on International Economic Policy and Governance. The workshop is opened by Professor Li Yang, Academy Member and Vice-President of CASS, and Lord Stern of Brentford, President of British Academy and Professor of London School of Economics. Speakers at the workshop include Zhu Guangyao, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Finance, Professor Justin Yifu Lin, Honorary Dean of National School of Development, Peking University, Professor Ngaire Woods, Dean of Blavatnik School of Government and Professor of Global Economic Governance, University of Oxford, and Senior Fellow and Director Zhang Yuyan of IWEP. Topics under discussion are global macroeconomic policy risks and governance, foundations for sustained and sustainable growth across the world, and the changing structure of the Chinese economy in the context of a changing world.
