Chayapat Wareenil and Yoopin Claymone visit IWEP

Under the agreement of CASS and National Research Council of Thailand, two scholars, Chayapat Wareenil and Yoopin Claymone, from East Asian Studies Center of Thammasat University, are visiting IWEP. Issues under discussion include economic and environmental impact of China on Thailand, especially with regard to the Greater Mekong River Basin. Their visit is hosted by Research Fellow and Head of International Investment Division Zhang Ming. While visiting IWEP, the Thai scholars also meet with Professor Cha Daojong of School of International Studies, Peking University. (2014-05-19/23)
